EZ MSP Systems Administrator in Yonkers, New York

Job Summary

As a Systems Administrator at EZ MSP, you?ll be part of our service desk support team. You?ll be working with other technicians and engineers, some at your level, some senior. The service desk team mostly does the day-to-day support work for our clients ? things like error resolution, session resets, network and application troubleshooting and other assorted break/fix work. You?ll be expected to perform, organize and document your work using our workflow management software and tools. The job is based out of our main office in Yonkers, NY.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage, support and troubleshoot LAN and WAN network devices

  • Manage, support and troubleshoot Internet access and security appliances

  • Manage, support and troubleshoot remote and wireless access

  • Manage, support and troubleshoot VMware or other virtualization platforms

  • Manage, support and troubleshoot remote desktop environments such as Citrix and Microsoft Remote Desktop

  • Manage, support and troubleshoot disaster recovery platforms and software

  • Manage, support and troubleshoot cloud services such as hosted email and content filtering

  • Perform patching, upgrades, and other preventative maintenance tasks

  • Communicate with customers and managers in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications and Skills

  • Knowledge of the OSI model and TCP/IP networking

  • Knowledge of DHCP, DNS, NAT/PAT and various content filtering and network access control technologies

  • Experience with imaging and OS deployment and management technologies

  • Experience with VMware?s virtualization stack and products

  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Client operating systems as well as Office 2013/ 2016/O365

  • Experience supporting various remote access technologies and products such as VPN, Citrix, and MS Remote Desktop

  • ConnectWise Manage and ConnectWise Automate (Labtech) experience

  • Working knowledge of Citrix Director/Studio, Cisco Meraki, Datto, OpenDNS, PowerShell, SmartDeploy

  • Knowledge of ITIL framework
