General Electric Lead Engineer - Technical Regulations and Standards in Wroclaw, Poland

Role Summary:Insure generator compliance to the local Technical Regulation and Standards including Machinery Directive with CE marking, Explosive Atmosphere Directive (ATEX), Pressure Equipment Directive (PED), Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (EMC), Low Voltage Directive (LV).

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Be the expert on Technical Regulation and Standard including CE, ATEX, PED, EMC, LV.

  • Stay connected with the new regulation and standards.

  • Make sure that regulation and standards are implemented in the design.

  • Perform the Hazard and Operability analysis (HAZOP) for the generator scope.

  • Perform the risk analysis on project during execution phase.

  • Assemble the needed documentation to prove the product compatibility.

  • Organize product review and certification during project execution.

  • Support all TR&S discussion with customer or internally.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • University degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Electrical or the same knowledge or experience.

  • Strong expertise on generator.

  • Proven experience in working with technical standards and regulation.

  • Knowledge of software MTA, PHA-Pro.

  • Oral and written communication skills in English language.
