Job Description

With dynamic customer needs and healthcare landscape, it is imperative for CVS Pharmacy to assess, refresh and evolve its business strategy continuously to own the market place and best meet our patient's healthcare needs. You and the broader team play an instrumental role in incubating and executing new innovative sources of growth, and ultimately crafting and evolving CVS Retail Pharmacy strategy.

You will be responsible for:

1) You will incubate New Ideas:

  • Size and evaluate new opportunities for growth (new products, services, initiatives, etc.)

  • Design and execute well-thought out tests to further validate opportunity

2) You will own innovative and rigorous data analyses: develop & use deep understanding of CVS data to perform customized queries and data analyses to assess opportunities, influence test/solution design and enable data-based decisions

3) You will effectively partner and coordinate across different business units within CVS enterprise to test new capabilities, developing a deep understanding of the business

4) You will develop executive materials and support strategic planning cycles through articulating and aligning with partners on how new ideas can help shape retail pharmacy strategy and contribute to enterprise success

You should demonstrate the following competencies:

  1. Strong analytical skills and ability to use data & analytics to uncover root causes and drive decision-making

  2. Strong project management skills and ability to influence partners

  3. Agility and flexibility to quickly react to feedback and early test results, and continue to progress in spite of uncertainties

Required Qualifications

2+ years of strategy, consulting, product development, product managment, operations, retail pharmacy, or similar experience required

2+ years’ experience in data analyses in Excel and deck-building in PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

Certified in project management

1+ years’ experience with custom queries in relational databases (such as SQL or Teradata)

Education

Bachelor's degree
