Write, edit, runoff Turning and/or Milling programming with optional 5 and 6 axis programming
Select proper tooling and setups needed to obtain fit and finish of the part desired by the customer.
Interpret customers’ CNC needs and be able to convert that to a working program.
Drive improvements in all related manufacturing processes, including those related to products, equipment, and product quality for customers
Present work to customers at reviews and other meetings
Interact with internal and external customers
We are excited to talk to you if:
AS in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, BS is preferred
Minimum hands on experience in Programming and Manufacturing 4-8 years
Hands on programming experience required milling and/or turning (NX, Mastercam, etc..).
Broad and hands-on knowledge on various manufacturing processes required including specialized materials
Required to be able to write subroutines, know how to read POSTs code and create/convert NX CAD models into Vericut programs. Experience in multiple languages/software: NX, Vericut, Mastercam, etc..
Expert in interpreting the GD&T (standards ASME Y 14.5, JES 161).
Knowledge in Measurements system analysis (MSA).
Experience in manufacturing with various processes such as turning, 3-5 axis milling, grinding, broaching, special processes, and sheet metal/fabrications.
Familiarity with CMM and CAM offline/ Online programming a plus
Experience with manual G code & M code editing and programming.
Knowledgeable in methods of inspection & gaging concepts
Familiarity with Aerospace Engine parts, requirements, and specifications
