Our engineering organization uses state-of-the-art tools, processes, technology, and Raytheon Six Sigma principles. Job Description : Our experienced engineer will make significant contributions in the design and development of non-tactical test equipment hardware utilizing Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools. Primary tasks include developing and/or updating existing custom test hardware Technical Data Packages (TDP) to include launcher, radar and missile non-tactical test equipment. Other tasks include coordinating assembly of project deliverables and assisting in resolving manufacturing problems. Additional responsibilities include working across disciplines and providing ad hoc assistance to support program requirements as needed. Tasks could include assisting with and providing support to mission operations at WSMR and other locations to include coordination, system performance analysis and setup of tactical equipment such as launchers. Requried Skills: Minimum of 18 months of experience utilizing technologies, tools and best practices in designing mechanical equipment using AutoCAD and engineering drawings. Solid knowledge and experience in drafting standards to include dimensioning and tolerancing Knowledge of industry standard test equipment such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes and logic analyzers in support of engineering troubleshooting Ability to analyze, problem solve, multi-task, work in a team environment and meet deadlines Occasionally work long hours and/or the weekends and travel to various locations and remote sites to support program requirements. Desired Qualifications: Experience in ProE or similar CAD tool Knowledge in mechanical engineering thermodynamics Ability to lift and carry 25+ lbs.
