Systems Operations Analyst II

Essential Functions: Provide support, guidance and training to other Operations Analysts as needed.
Play an active role in providing product recommendations to Development team(s) to continue to improve the product.
Serve as the primary, on-site IT point-of-contact with groups, such as internal/external customer, sales, BD, quality, and other teams as appropriate.
Assist with the analysis, definition and documentation of detailed specs for new & existing applications in compliance with TNT ZDS and BDP methodologies.
Assist with system maintenance, configurations, and installation of various h/w technologies & s/w products.
Operate & maintain all facility computer systems, including but not limited to PCs, printers, RF equipment, data collection devices, etc.
Maintain IT training materials & train appropriate team(s), as required.
Maintain prioritized IT task list and coordinate with Corporate office to ensure task resolution occurs.
Effectively identify and escalate issues as appropriate.
Serve as SME (Subject Matter Expert) for the assigned TNT application(s).
Must be able to travel as required.
Pro-actively & continuously seek to improve the highest level service from the application(s).
Log all appropriate IT problems in the TNT Help Desk system for tracking and analytical purposes.
Non-Essential Functions: Application Development.
Education and Experience: Bachelors degree preferred. Computer Operations experience is a plus. 3-5 years experience with Logistics applications (ex. Transportation, Warehousing, Crossdock, Sequencing, etc). Knowledge of MS Project, Word, Excel, Visio, etc.
