Responsible for Managing the Accounting team, business plan, closing, cost analysis, taxes, asset, process improvement and providing reports to management.Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):Responsible for company tax related issuesOversee Accounting and Finance operationsCost accounting analysisRecommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance of divisions and departmentsManage the preparation of the official annual report of actual revenues and expensesManage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecastsEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirementsContinue to develop internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities such as budget administration, cash and credit management, and accountingOther duties as assignedQualifications:Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting PrinciplesKnowledge of federal and state financial regulationsSAP CO/FI experience preferredHigh Organizational Skills Required!Work requires professional written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills8+ years of upperlevel accounting and/or finance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.CPA preferred but not requiredPhysical Demands / Working Conditions: The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
