DELIVERING SERVICE EXCELLENCE
Accountable for the financial and operational management of a key sector of accounts, the Key Account Manager will work closely with the business development function in order to provide targeted and strategic growth to the accounts through the addition of Bureau Veritas service lines.
Key responsibilities include:
Act as the main point of contact for at least one client and to actively identify, drive and implement effective delivery of the Accounts whilst ensuring client SLA’s, profitability and revenue growth is achieved and exceeded.
Ensuring activity/operation is at requisite levels to support Sector Direction
Ensure the effective delivery of all Bureau Veritas services to meet and exceed client SLA’s
Work with the client and Bureau Veritas business development function to promote and secure additional services in line with the growth strategy for each account
Work closely with key internal stakeholders (e.g. Business Unit Directors Area Managers and support functions) across Bureau Veritas to ensure excellent customer service
Develop MI to meet client’s requirements
Provide internal MI to demonstrate operational and financial metrics for circulation within Bureau Veritas
Identify and implement continuous improvement across the account to demonstrate added value to the client and Bureau Veritas
Act as a role model in the delivery of excellent customer service and hands on account management
Act as the client champion to make sure the implementation of new services or the expansion of existing services are delivered seamlessly.
Ensure all Key Account and Sector team milestones are met and adhered to, and actively manage the improvement of Work In Progress (WIP), and cash collection
Defines/ Directs operational actions using market analysis and competitive intelligence, and coordinates with Commercial Sector leader, being the voice of the client and sector to operational and support colleagues, ensuring customer expectations are both managed and met commercially.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent in a business / management related discipline
Key Account Management professional with a strong track record of success within high profile client facing or business development roles
Project mobilisation experience
Project and change management experience
Good understanding of profit and loss management
Excellent client service skills and the ability to resolve complex issues through effective negotiation
A credible influencer at all levels of the organisation
Knowledge of IT systems including advanced Excel skills
Effective engagement and matrix management experience
