Job Description
You are responsbile for
Performing the various tasks necessary to assemble micro-electronic assemblies for production. This is an entry level position, where the assembler works under the guidance of an experienced senior level assembly technician receiving regular instruction and following detailed instructions. This job performs the basic assembly, die bonding, wire bonding, and installation steps for the components required in production line assemblies. This includes the documentation necessary to track the traveler (electronic or paper) and the assembler's performance.

Assembles components by positioning parts and sub-assemblies examining connections for correct fit, and fastening parts and sub-assemblies. Clean PCB's and assemblies throughout process and after completion Maintain logs and paperwork and forms accurately consistent with company policy and practices Must continuously meet/exceed production schedules and deadlines according to quality standards Other duties as assigned Performs a wide variety of mechanical product assembly operations on components, assemblies or sub-assemblies. Populate PCB's from Work Instructions and Assembly Drawings / Bills of Material Prepares assembly work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions and following blueprint specifications Skilled at performing one or two of the following job duties; Board Mount; Solder SMT components on PCB's; Assemble PCB's into housings; Epoxy sealing of completed assemblies; Wire bonding; Sub Attach or Die AttachTo succeed in this role you should have the following skills and experience
Ability to multi-task concurrently Ability to read simple assembly drawings Ability to work with general instruction on daily activiites Basic reading writing in English as well as basic arithmetic skills Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas is required; board mount, die attach, wire bond, soldering, or basic mechanical assembly Knowledge of basic computer skills Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic discharge) procedures H.S. Diploma or equivalentRelevant experience with board mount, die attach, wire bond, soldering, or mechanical assembly
