IntegraMed America Patient Services Coordinator in Wellington, Florida

IVF FLORIDA Reproductive Associates (IVF FLORIDA), Florida's premiere and largest provider of infertility services, is seeking the talents of a highly skilled and experienced Patient Services Coordinator to fill a Full-Time position at our multi-physician, multi-site practice. This position will rotate between our Wellington and Jupiter practice locations. This is an exciting and challenging position with a practice that continues to grow!

The Patient Services Coordinator position will handle Front Desk responsibilities and assist with billing functions. Monday-Friday with rotating weekend and holiday requirements.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Check-in patients, review demographic information and correct if necessary.

  • Ensure all new patient medical records have been received and are available for the patient’s appointment.

  • Collect fees for services rendered, any outstanding account balances and deposits for prescheduled procedures.

  • Fax requests, verifying authorizations for HIPAA compliance on release of information requests.

  • Oversee flow of waiting areas, monitoring patient wait time and communicates delays to patients.

  • Responsible for the daily coverage of reception area including answering incoming calls greeting patients, and ensuring a smooth flow of operation and customer satisfaction.

  • Scan patient records and consent forms.

  • Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines or ability to learn and apply the guidelines is essential.

  • Responsible for compiling new patient packets.

  • Retrieve all messages from voice mail system daily and notify the appropriate staff.

  • Ensure the confidentiality of all patient records.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum one year of experience working in healthcare office setting. Medical terminology experience or education equivalency required. Knowledge of office procedures and office machines (i.e. computer, fax, copier, etc) is required. Be able to communicate accurately and concisely displaying excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Must have a reliable means of transportation as the position requires use of personal vehicle to travel between practice locations.
