Our client, an exceptional, family owned brand headquartered in Wayne County is looking to hire a skilled Cost Accounting Manager to join their team. If hired for this Cost Accounting Manager position, you will supervise a team of 2-3 employees and be responsible for: oversight and review of all product costing processes and gross margin analysis. Additional responsibilities for the Cost Accounting Manager position will include leading cost activities in collaboration with Finance, Product Development, and Supply Chain. Requirements

Our client is one of Michigan's oldest and well-respected organizations operating throughout the US. For consideration candidates will need 8 plus years of costing experience, and 3 or more years in a leadership/ supervisory position. As a candidate your background should include a strong understanding of cost calculations, analyses, and reconciliations overseeing the costing team for various costing standards including freight, duties, overhead rates, labor rates, including accounting related activities. Our client stresses teamwork, collaboration, and an excellent work life. This client is requiring candidates have their bachelor?s degree as well as current manufacturing/costing experience.
