An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic and passionate Commercial Manager within the Abbott Tranfusion Division, based in Belgium
With our ground breaking Alinity product line, a newly developed lab solution, you will be able to increase our business with C-suite level clients.
Reporting to the Acquisition Manager Europe, the successful applicant will be responsible for profitably growing the business and enterprise accounts within the defined territories through the development of high level business relationships, strategies and execution of aligned tactics.
Transfusion Sales Specialist
The Transfusion Sales Specialist will develop key relationships across a spectrum of personnel within the Blood Banks in Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg to identify needs and opportunities to fit to Abbott Transfusion Business Unit Solutions , leading the field sales approach with these Blood Banks by focusing on the value that can be delivered in partnership with our customers. Within the Sales role you will be expected to travel in average 3 days per week.
As Sales Specialist your tasks will be:
Building sustainable customer relationships to increase sales and profitability
Responsibility on sales quota, including forecasting and target performance achievement
Develop a sales plan for your own area of responsibility
Implementation of customer programs and campaigns
Analysis of market and competitive data with the aim of developing a sales strategy
University degree or equivalent experience required. University degree with focus on Medical, Bioscience, Laboratory Sciences or Medical Technology (preferable)
Proven Sales track record or very good understanding for the customer needs
Preferably also demonstrated commercial operations capabilities
Minimum of 3 years track record in the in-vitro-diagnostic industry and/or medical device business or equivalent working experience required (e.g. Hospital or private Laboratory, Blood Bank Laboratory, etc.)
Good product and industry knowledge (In-Vitro-Diagnostics / Healthcare Market)
Must be team orientated, analytical, highly organized
Results Driven, confident, thrives on hard work and consistent challenge, and is quick on his/her feet.
Ability to operate and achieve results within a Cross-Functional Team
Highly organized with strong communication skills
You are fluent in English, French and Flemish/ Dutch
