That team is expanding, and we currently have exceptional opportunities to help our communities grow. * The Pharmacy Technician I assists the pharmacist to ensure safe and optimal drug therapy for our patients by filling medication orders for patients. * The Pharmacy Technician I provides supplies for nursing and other ancillary areas, repackages and labels medications, and accurately completes requiredrecord keeping for compounding and delivering medications. * Duties and responsibilities are carried out in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Company service standards. * Typical work shifts include 10 hour shifts during the day or evening hours of operation from 6 am to 12am, at least one weekend per month, and holidays as necessary. Because you're committed to excellence, you understand the importance of being properly prepared for your role at Company . That's why you'll bring to your role the right set of qualifications: Education: Requires high school diploma or equivalent with strong mathematical skills. The candidate must pass math test administered by HR, or easily resolve differences prior to hire. Licensure: Requires a valid Pharmacy Technician registration with the Missouri State Board of Pharmacy in good standing or eligibility to obtain upon hire.Preferred Experience: Previous experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy is strongly preferred.Certifications: None.Other: Must have all medications and preparations checked by a registered pharmacist before it is dispensed.
