Junior Military Officer and NCO Transitioning Development Program

Lynch Consultants, LLC is a veteran owned consulting firm actively seeking highly motivated and talented Junior Military Officers Junior Military Officers (O-2/O-3) and NCOs (E-6/E-7). Metro Area, Northern Virginia, Austin, TX, and Albany, Georgia. Responsibilities

Successful candidates will establish a vibrant partnership with our Defense Agency and Military Service clients to provide high-impact consulting in support of DOD activities, primarily in our Resource Advisory, Program Advisory, and Risk Advisory practices. You will work directly with our clients to perform analysis, provide guidance and recommendations, and directly assist the government to master high-visibility programs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Military Officer or 10 years as an NCO in the US Armed Forces

  • Bachelor?s degree from an accredited university

  • Strong analytical skills, including analyzing large data sets, trend analysis, identification and resolution of risks and issues, developing mitigation plans to address identified risks

  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Strong MS Office Suites experience

  • Current DOD Secret Clearance

  • Flexibility to accommodate client travel as required.

Desirable (not required) Skills and Experience

  • Advanced Degree, CPA, and or PMP

  • Experience with financial management, internal controls, or business process improvement

  • Knowledge of military property accountability

  • Direct experience with DOD financial, logistics, and/or supply systems and feeder systems
