Systems/Software Requirements Engineering Lead

Key Role:

Manage a team of business, requirements, and test analysts that analyze complex client problems to formulate technical solutions and document functional and technical requirements. Translate user needs to system requirements by overseeing the generation of a variety of requirement documentation, including business process flows, interactive system interface mock-ups, use cases, client ready briefings, requirements traceability matrices, and software requirement specifications. Manage system requirement project schedules, create milestones while monitoring and tracking progress against plan, and analyze and troubleshoot system anomalies reported by the client. Conduct document reviews of requirements and test documentation with client and project team and support process improvement initiatives for requirements key process area. Work closely with a team to develop innovative applications that address clients’ most challenging business, technology, and system integration needs. Serve as a liaison between clients and system developers to communicate client needs to a technical team.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience as a business or system requirements analyst, including defining, simplifying, or translating business requirements

-10+ years of experience with SDLC methodologies and practices

-5+ years of experience with leading a team of requirements analyst and testers

-5+ years of experience with Agile, ITIL, and BPR methodologies

-3+ years of experience with managing a team of analyst

-Ability to document business rules and impacted processes or systems and functional and technical specifications

-Ability to gather and document technical and operational requirements and create mockups

-Ability to grasp new concepts quickly, comprehend the intent of a client’s needs, and help to shape and form the solution by leveraging team capabilities

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

-Ability to work in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment with aggressive project time-lines and continual client delivery

-Ability to work in a team-oriented, inclusive, and very collaborative work environment and work with the team to achieve consensus

-Ability to lead and function well within fast-paced and team-oriented environments

-Ability to work with leadership, functional groups, and development teams

-Ability to work independently under general direction

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent presentation and interpersonal skills

-Agile, ITIL, or BPR Certification preferred
