We are seekinga Sr. Project Support Specialist to support a NASA contract inWashington DC .
The Heliophysics Division at NASA Headquarters is seeking an individual to provide executive business support to include the following:
Calendar management; including calendar resolution to assure key meetings are covered by at least one member of the Heliophysics senior management team.
Independently performs administrative management functions that service and/or fulfill a number of organizational requirements. Specifically preparing travel authorizations and vouchers for multiple members of the Heliophysics Division, including international and invitational travel.
Maintains databases that reflect the fulfillment and/or status of administrative requirements and/or systems.
Conducts a technical review of correspondence prepared for signature of organization executives to assure consistency with agency procedures on completeness, timeliness and format standards.
Answering telephones, including taking and delivering messages.
Greeting visitors and escorting them to meeting locations.
Meeting logistics, including agenda, attendees, reserving conference rooms and/or call-in numbers, travel information, etc.
Ordering and organizing office supplies.
Working with the Headquarters Action Tracking System (HATS) to assure all SMD actions are being actively addressed.
Supporting key meetings (e.g., establishing call-in line, taking notes, creating sign-in list).
Create presentations for the division in support of meetings. This includes touch-ups as well as creating presentations.
Support and develop Directorate milestone planning activities, and other duties as assigned.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of and ability to use standard Microsoft Office Suite with proficient use in PowerPoint.
Executive administrative/office skills required.
Ability to deal with rapidly changing calendar events such as scheduling and re-scheduling meetings, and changing travel arrangements on short notice
Individual must meet government NAC and citizenship/permanent residency requirements for access to NASA GSFC. Extensive background investigation will be performed as a requirement of the job.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of seven years of related experience or nine years in lieu of a degree.
