We are seeking a consultant to support a client engagement working with the Department of the Interior (DOI) in the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). The candidate will collaborate with HR, Acquisition, and Asset Management personnel to create these process maps. Background experience with the Department of Interior, business process mapping, and CIO support are strongly preferred.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • PMP certification required with strong Project Management experience

  • Department of the Interior (DOI) experience preferred

  • In-depth knowledge, expertise and proven experience in process analysis, creation, and documentation required

  • Experience creating, analyzing, and presenting process maps for areas of business including HR, Acquisition, and Asset Management

  • Strong collaboration skills ? ability to work extensively with others

  • Experience with Business Process Management Software, standard Microsoft Office products, Google apps

  • Strong oral and written communications skills

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Experience with Lean principles a plus

Job Description Requirements: The candidate shall provide support to the client, to include:

  • Develop and analyze processes for the OCIO Business Operations Division

  • Collaborate with HR, Acquisition and Asset Management personnel to create process maps

  • Develop and manage project plans to create deliverables in conjunction with DOI Staff

  • Create and deliver high level reports and processes to executive level management

  • Provide program operations support to the Office of the Chief Information Officer

  • Support the development of presentations and documentation to be delivered to leadership and external stakeholders

  • Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP), required

  • Clearance: Ability to obtain suitability determination to work with US Government
