Paralegal I

Unit: Cyber

Candidate MUST have paralegal certificate.

CYBER TASKS:

  • Draft & File 2705(b) Non-Disclosure Orders

  • Draft & Serve Subpoenas for all AUSAs

  • Schedule, Draft & File Search Warrants for Investigations for all AUSAs

  • Maintain tracking system for 2705(b) Non-Disclosure Orders Expiration Dates

  • Serving through ECF of AUSAs court documents

  • Collect & Document returns received from Subpoenas

  • Assist AUSAs with scheduling of Grand Jury, Conference Rooms & Interviews

GENERAL PARALEGAL TASKS:

Performs advanced legal research using Lexis Nexis and Westlaw

Manages, tracks, and maintains high profile cases as well as scheduling and/or keeping a calendar of events such as debriefings, hearings, trial dates, travel, and hotel accommodations

Conducts all aspects of trial preparation, including litigation case management; serve as litigation support in court proceedings and trial

Reviews documents for relevance and privilege according to established guidelines and criteria

Researches and analyzes criminal history reports

Develops and enters various case material into a computer database and prepare charts, graphs, and tables to illustrate results; Prepares large photos, exhibits, audio and video production to be used in courtroom
