Provide support to In-Service Radar programs in the area of Acquisition, Systems Engineering and Project management.
Specifically, you will:
Engage in Project Management support through the acting as a liaison between the Radar Community and the various stakeholders.
Provide Financial Management through development of Task Planning Sheets, Budgets and Spend Plans.
Review DOD guidance and policy for application and implementation for programs.
Provide System Engineering support in the coordinating of reviews of System Interfaces Documentation, review of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and participation in Design Reviews.
Develop power point presentations, agendas, coordinating meetings, track risks, action items and writing meeting
Coordinate with external support personnel to respond to Data calls and generate Technical Briefs for the Program Office.
Support Government Project Manager directly through monitoring cost and schedule performance through Earned Value.
A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
3 years of related experience is preferred.
Experience with DOD 5000 as it applies to Acquisition and Systems Engineering.
Working knowledge of Change Requests & Engineering Change Proposals.
Financial experience with Budgets, Estimating and Task Planning.
Familiar with configuration management principals.
Familiar with shipboard installation processes.
Experience with Obsolescence Management and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS).
Working knowledge of US Navy planning process (SHIPMAIN) and Navy Data Environment (NDE).
