CACI International Budget Process Analyst in Washington, District Of Columbia
What You'll Get To Do:
In support of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DoT) and under direction from the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), your primary focus will be on developing budget related standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documenting budget related business process improvement (BPI) processes, as well as, providing high quality customer service within the areas of financial data input, tracking, scheduling, and training facilitation.
More About This Role:
As a Budget Process Analyst supporting USDOT you will
Facilitate client work sessions to capture budget related content to build budget-related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs);
Develop budget-related training tools (e.g., user guides/job aids) and conduct training for Federal government analysts and managers;
Support the CFO Office with Audit preparation; end of fiscal year budget support; and other team related tasks, as needed;
Support the team in the analysis of financial data, inclusive of the analysis of data application errors using critical thinking to solve quickly;
Assist with maintenance support of custom-designed financial applications in Microsoft Excel;
Understand how the Government manages Congressional funds;
Schedule, coordinate, facilitate, conduct, and communicate all client logistics of meetings, workshops; Internet-based forums; webinars; video conferences; teleconferences; and training sessions, as well as provide assistance in various aspects of planning, designing, executing, and following-up of various events;
Prepare, maintain, update, and track task assignments, reports, and correspondence to ensure consistent information exchange and completion;
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, purchasing and supply requests, inventories, and financial/acquisition plans;
Collect, compile, input, and analyze information in government financial systems and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets for complex administrative projects requiring technical analyses and input from various segments of the organization; and
Organize, scan, and maintain documentation and files, as well as conduct audits for quality control purposes.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, or Related Discipline; OR at least two years related work experience
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (complex spreadsheets, advanced formulas, macros, and pivoting data); and
Must be able to obtain NACI (Public Trust).
These Qualifications Would Be Nice To Have:
Bachelor's in Mathematics, Finance, or Accounting;
Microsoft SQL experience;
At least two (2) years of database development experience;
Proficiency with Microsoft Visual Basics for Applications (VBA);
Federal government audit experience;
Lean Six Sigma process improvement (Green Belt preferred);
Excellent communication skills (writing and verbal); and
Excellent customer service.
