Agile Coach

Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for facilitating the Agile process for one or more development teams by promoting improved engineering practices, focusing on continuous team process improvement, reflecting metrics back to the team, resolving impediments, and enforcing time-boxes. Facilitate sprint planning, requirement or backlog refinement, daily stand ups, and conduct sprint review meetings. Adapt to various agile processes, including SAFe, Scrum and Kanban, provide training and mentoring to development teams on agile topics, and leverage knowledge of JIRA and associated agile tools. Partner with teams to take them beyond getting delivery practices up and running into their deliberate and joyful pursuit of high performance. Coach, mentor, teach, and facilitate delivery teams and individuals in the adoption of agile, adaptive processes that promote continuous learning, feedback, and value-based delivery. Support 2 to 4 delivery teams as an Agile coach.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with using Agile development methods

-1+ years of experience with software development or engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis or resolution

-Experience with using issue tracking software

-Experience with using Scrum and Kanban

-Active Top Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

-Certified Scrum Master
