NetImpact Strategies Senior Project Manager in Washington DC, District Of Columbia
We have an opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join our talented Professional Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall performance of one or more ID/IQ(s) /BPA(s).
Typical responsibilities include:
Perform day-to-day management of overall contract support operations, possibly involving multiple projects and groups of personnel at multiple locations
Organize, direct and coordinate the planning and production of all contract support activities
Has authority and responsibility to identify and commit resources required to support effort
Establish and alter (as necessary) corporate management structure to direct effective contract support activities
Craft and enforce quality control programs
Direct daily activities of Data Management processes, including security, nomenclature, classifications. Manage definition and effectiveness of workflow processes for maintenance of master data.
Provide strategic direction for data and transactional data governance processes, including governance council.
Lead data management global user group.
Lead investigation and response to data-related customer complaints.
Deliver objectives for data-related projects, including new plants, technology releases, etc.
Lead process for DQM (data quality management)
A Bachelors in a related field and at least 10 years of experience leading and managing large-scale programs, including service delivery contracts, mission-critical programs, leading and establishing Program/Project Management Offices (PMOs), strategic planning and governance for large programs
At least 10 years of proven experience in federal government or private sector program/project management
Experience leading projects involving data quality management.
Project management certification such as Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP)
Must be capable of leading projects that involve the successful management of multi-functional teams
Must have specialized experience including project development, expertise in management and control of funds and resources, demonstrated capability in managing multiple tasks
Demonstrate written and oral communication skills
Strong leadership, as well as oral and written communication skills, are required.
Developed problem-solving and analytical abilities
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Excellent presentation & communication skills in both oral and written form
Genuine desire to learn is essential.
This position is located in the Washington DC metro region.
