Latitude, Inc. Contract Administrator in Washington D.C., District Of Columbia

We are currently looking for a dynamic individual as a Contract Administrator to join our team

Essential Functions:

  • Provide individual expertise with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) and other regulatory and policy supplements, both government-wide and specific to the Department of Defense

  • Assist with contract award and management support, including recommendations regarding the formation of contracts, and resolution of contract-related issues

  • Provide expertise in federal procurement, who will provide support in the preparation for award and administration of government contracts

  • Provide cost and pricing support to the Program and Project by analyzing proposals submitted for task orders/delivery orders, and contract modifications

  • Closeout contract/task orders in accordance with regulation and ensure proper disposition of file

  • Assist with the award and administration of contracts/task orders in accordance with terms and conditions of applicable laws, regulations and procedures

  • Perform cost/price analyses of simple and complex contractor proposals

  • Assist the Division in developing acquisition strategies

  • Reviews contract solicitation terms, handling contract award confirmations, interpreting agreement terms and conditions and identifying potential issue

  • Negotiation of terms and conditions which includes developing options and alternatives for proposals with the business development staff

  • Maintains detailed and organized file for all contracts that contains original document, authorizations, all correspondence, changes/deviations, amendments, clarifications and payment schedules, Proposal Evaluation support and quality assurance of reports

  • Maintains working knowledge of applicable federal laws and regulations.

  • Conducts special projects / performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.

Required Education and Work Experience:

  • A bachelor?s degree in Business Administration or equivalent

  • Five plus years of experience in contract administration

  • Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM)

  • Program Management Profession (PMP) or equivalent certification

  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), DFARS, OTAs and ITAR,

  • Need to be clearable US Citizen
