Latitude, Inc. Configuration Manager in Washington D.C., District Of Columbia
Growing government contractor looking to add a Configuration Manager to their staff.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments in areas of Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V), CM, Agile SW development methodologies, Risk Management and QA with a primary focus on CM;
Assists other project members with analysis and evaluation and with the preparation of recommendations for system improvements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance efforts in the following specialties: Configuration Management, Risk Management, disaster recovery; and requirements management;
Develops Project Plans/schedules related to CM and IV&V activities for the JPMO including attending meetings, presenting reports and findings, addressing corrective actions and making recommendations;
Serves as the IV&V team SME on the five core areas of CM: CM Planning and Program Management, Configuration Identification, Configuration Control, Configuration Status Accounting, and Configuration Verification and Audits.
Provide a weekly status report to the Program Manager as directed;
Provide monthly progress report details to the Program Manager and participates in status meetings with the team as required;
Will oversee the work of other team members and provide coaching, guidance, training, scheduling and conflict resolution.
5-10 years of experience in Application Development environment and IVV&T with at least 5 years working with Configuration Management within an Agile environment to support clients with Agile transition, QA, Change Management, Risk Management and CM.
5 years? experience as IV&V/CM SME within Federal Application modernization with an agile/hybrid development environment
Agile Development and Software Engineering lifecycle
Associates Degree or higher and/or 5-15 years of experience.
Certification in a Configuration Management (NDIA, CMII, CMPIC)
Knowledge of DHS SELC and IV&V strategies coupling DHS/OCFO standards and processes with industry best practices and standards.
JIRA Agile tool along with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office suite.
Working knowledge of DHS Financial Management systems
Current DHS Security Clearance (Full Background Investigation).
Knowledge of IEEE 1012 for IV&V, CM Standards, ITIL and Change Management
Relevant certifications in areas including: Agile, QA, Risk Management, Change Management, etc.
