Sr. Strategy and Analytics Manager, Nalgene Consumer Business

The objective of the Strategy & Analytics Manager (SAM) is to lead the reporting and analysis that delivers the insights to drive business strategy. The role is responsible for developing a holistic view of the Nalgene consumer business performance – looking for anomalies that the team can learn from or exploit to drive business growth (i.e. regional deviations from index performance; channel performance and strategic direction; portfolio performance, management and right-sizing work).

How will you make an impact?

  • Partnering with the Sr. Marketing Manager to assess and improve marketing platforms as well as lead brand positioning work.

  • Working in concert with the Product Manager to develop a new product development strategy, process, and pipeline for the consumer business.

  • Working closely with the GM and Regional Commercial Managers to help define the customer universe (e.g. Developed Accounts worthy of investment vs. Rest of Market) as well as total business channel strategy.

What will you do?

  • Work with your assigned business to optimize strategic plans and align on data and marketing needs.

  • Work with multiple business partners to understand their strategic plans and align on requirements, key performance indicators (KPIs), ROI and growth expectations. Use data to optimize activities and make recommendations for future activities. Be comfortable in directly addressing under-performance

  • Support the development of diverse assets, including advertising (print & online), collateral, direct marketing emails, trade show materials, video, photography, training, etc.

  • Collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders (agencies, third-party vendors, other business units, customers) to deliver the tactical assets to support these plans.

  • Responsible for managing a high volume of activity and prioritize activities to effectively deliver plans on time and budget.

How will you get here?

  • Bachelor degree in business/communications/marketing; MBA preferred.

  • 5+ years in brand marketing, product management, agency account and/or project management or similar role.

  • Experience managing program execution from strategic collaboration through completion of tactical deliverables.

  • Proven track record of success creating and executing measurable programs globally.

  • Strong analytical competence.

  • Experience with project management or workflow systems.

  • Ability to travel 30% of the time
