  • Help grow Wolters Kluwer’s Financial Risk & Reporting (FRR) business and increase its market share

  • Develop and execute the sales strategy and tactics to help ensure timely closure of deals

  • Maintain a high-level executive contact with account(s) and prospects, focusing on linking knowledge Wolters Kluwer FRR solutions/strategies with the customers to establish and maintain a mutually beneficial long-term strategic partnership

  • Source new leads and qualify opportunities within an assigned territory and named accounts.

  • Make outbound calls to potential and existing customers in support of joint Marketing and Sales campaigns by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and sell products and services

  • Manage ongoing sales orders from customers including add-on, upsells and renewals and as needed, meet with customers at their location or host them on site. Identify client needs and new upsell and cross sell opportunities

  • Serve as a point of contact for client issues and coordinating internal resources to ensure a high level of client satisfaction

  • Answer or arrange for the answer of RFI's and RFP's within stipulated timescales and according to stipulated delivery requirements

  • Work with presales consultants and others as deemed necessary to present in-depth demonstrations

  • Maintain client information in SalesForce.com CRM application and provide reporting to management as requested


  • A minimum of one year of direct sales experience and/or current student or recent graduate from an accredited college/university

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience

  • Strong desire to work within a dynamic sales environment

  • Team player with excellent problem-solving skills

  • Strong customer focus with excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Experience with SalesForce.com or similar CRM system is a plus

  • Ability to travel in pursuit of objectives
