The Sales Support Manager is responsible for managing and developing a medium to large size team of entry level sales professionals that join Citrix via the Sales Support program (College Recruitment Program).

The Sales Support program requires that each newly hired sales specialist work through several core inside sales functional roles. These roles include Sales Support, Renewal Sales and Inside Product Sales.

The Sales Support Manager is responsible for ensuring specialists successfully complete the first phase of the program with the goal of moving into the Renewal Sales role where applicable.

Primary Duties / Responsibilities

  • Manages quoting and ordering process, including giving price quotations on standard products, checking order prices and quantities

  • Assists with the sales exception process and ensures orders are aligned with approved price exceptions

  • Assists with license transfers and conversion requests

  • Documents/Manages customer and partner requests and issues, track status and keeping relevant parties updated

  • Follows-through on CAR queries from sales and partners

  • Resolves or coordinates appropriate responses to customers, partners and Citrix teams independently (e.g. troubleshooting license activation issues); involves/escalates independently to other teams for more complex issues

  • Maintains customer files with sales contracts and other information

  • Utilizes CRM system and all necessary applications to manage and optimize sales all opportunities, correct licensing issues, merge records, track all sales stages of the opportunities, and update customer information (e.g. seat counts)

  • Provides specific reports to Citrix sales and management

  • Conducts User Acceptance Testing (UATs) for new tools and processes

  • Prepares and places demo appliance orders, tracks demo progress, organizes return, requests RMA

  • Delivers ad hoc trainings on Systems and Tools

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

  • Minimum of 3 years previous experience in Sales Support or in indirect Sales

  • Previous experience in a high-tech environment

  • Ability to independently resolve issues involving partner resources and Citrix employees in various functions and at different levels

  • Customer service-oriented

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

  • Team-oriented

  • Knowledge of Citrix products and services preferable

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

  • Highly proficient in Salesforce or other established CRM systems

  • Fluency in English and in the local language of the region to be supported
