POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Accountant is responsible to maintain the efficient and accurate flow of financial information within the health system. The senior accountant is responsible for day to day monthly activity assuring accurate monthly financial statements. The senior accountant is also responsible for post financial statement controls. The senior accountant may be responsible for certain entities within the health system as well as certain corporate functions across all entities. Lourdes Health System consists of Lourdes HealthCare Services (Corp), Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center (OLLMC), Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County (LMCBC), Foundation, Lourdes Dialysis Innova, Lourdes Ancillary Services, Lourdes Cardiology Services, Health Management Service Organization, Lourdes Medical Associates, and Life at Lourdes.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree required.

EXPERIENCE: 2 to 4 years of experience preferred.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

Good accounting skills

Advanced computer knowledge (Microsoft Office, Excel, Word)

Excellent organization skills

Good analytical skills

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or prior experience as a Staff Accountant
