Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The position provides administrative support to the Executive Director and Directors of the units within the division as well as to other support personnel as needed.
Act as lead receptionist for the Division of Educational Outreach and Summer Programs
Serve as the first contact person for incoming phone calls into three major operational areas and the first person greeting visitors to the offices
Answer incoming telephone calls to direct them to appropriate individuals, greets visitors to the three offices in the division and acts to determine callers’ needs for assistance and properly connect callers and visitors with individuals who can address questions or concerns in an efficient and courteous manner
Graduation from high school and the ability to speak professionally to a variety of constituents
Knowledge and understanding of the functions of the Division of Educational Outreach and Summer Programs as well as how this organization fits into the overall institution
