Job Description

CALIBRE, an employee-owned Management and Information Technology Services Company is looking for a Property Specialist/Lead to work on Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands on the Reagan Test Site (RTS) Engineering and Technical Services (RETS) Project. Employee will account for government property in accordance with regulations, contract requirements, company policies/procedures, and sound business practice. Perform assignments for various property management functions such as Acquisition, Receiving, Identification, Records, Movement, Storage, Physical Inventory, Reporting, Consumption, Utilization, Maintenance, Sub-Contracts, and Disposition. Identify, research and record incoming equipment in coordination with procurement and receiving functions. Create and distribute property listings and reports as required. Conduct inventories or spot checks, and reconciles results to update records. Assist Property Custodians and other customers in implementation of property processes to meet requirements and maintain accurate equipment accounts. Record information regarding equipment location, condition, and disposition. Process Movement and Transfer Documents, Cannibalization Requests, Loss, Damage, and Destruction (LDD) reports and other property documentation. Assist in identification and preparation of excess property for transfer or disposal. Participate in custodian training sessions and maintenance of related records. Perform in a lead role to implement Preventive Maintenance program requirements such as tracking equipment, schedules, records, training contacts, auditing and reporting results. Perform in a lead role to perform audits in various functional areas including material warehouses, tool rooms, and preventive maintenance. Facilitate on the job training for new employees in Property Control. Identify and diligently pursue resolution of issues and discrepancies. Create and collects performance statistics.

Performs other related duties as assigned:

  • Working knowledge of U.S. Federal and Department of Defense government property regulations FAR 45 and 52.245-1), principles, concepts, practices, standards and web based reporting functions such as Etools and PCARRS.

  • Proficiency using asset management databases such as MAXIMO.

  • Demonstrated ability performing inventories including the operation of a bar code scanner, utilization of software, and reconciliation to records.

  • Proficient computer skill including use of Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, Power Point

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel including creation of spreadsheets, formulas and charts.

  • Demonstrated self-motivation and team-player ability.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficient in English, both reading and writing.

Required Skills

  • National Property Management Association (NPMA) Certification

  • Must hold/obtain SECRET Clearance
