The AireSpring network-focused automation position is responsible for Network Engineering, Operations, and Planning scripting, programming, validation, and reporting associated to the organization’s ISP/MSP core, access, and edge IP network, backbone, service infrastructure, MPLS network, security, and inside plant network. This includes:
Python, Perl, etc. read/write syntax and logic used to complete move/add/change/delete into network assets
Database content and rules
Text and data manipulations
Data assurance and validation
Data retrieval and storage
Software to detect and report on thresholds or rule matching
Software trending and reporting automation
Tools that compare content and detect anomalies based on pattern matching and unexpected input/output
Electronic output generation of disparate retrievable and/or stored data
Automated population of tools and applications with content
A strong candidate for this position would have knowledge and hands-on experience developing in:
C# and .Net framework
Python and Perl scripting
Java and/or VB
Excel and Access
TCSH/BASH with open source Internet daemons (including SQL variants) and shell tools
Centralized data integration to multiple system/vendor API
A degree in Programming, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or Information Technology.
Development experience in, and with, the environments, applications, languages, and tools identified above.
Fundamental understanding of software-based interaction and electronic provisioning to network assets.
Database structure, maintenance, and secure I/O methods.
Understanding of TCP/IP networks, dependent public protocols, and topology.
Work during standard business hours, based on the Los Angeles, USA, time zone.
