Description:

The F117 fleet is 1,000 + engines in service accumulating over 600,000 cycles a year with over 120 shop visits a year managed by the F117 LPM team. F117 LPM team ensures quality, cost and schedule objectives are achieved for the maintenance, overhaul and repair (MRO) of the world wide fleet of F117 engines in accordance with the terms of the F117 Engine Sustainment Support contract with the US Government and separate Depot agreements.

The F117 Logistics Manager in San Francisco is responsible for:

  • Ensuring successful achievement of all program requirements and metrics

  • Leading a small team of on-site personnel coordinating local depot material management , repair management, and rotable inventory management

  • Technical support, internal/external and customer communication

  • Managing program assets in order to achieve spare engine/module level requirements and optimized Time On Wing

  • Fostering a strong continuous improvement culture to improve fleet management systems and processes to minimize cost while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction

  • Support periodic Customer Program Meetings

  • Develop and maintain a close business relationship with the depot at a senior leadership level; maintain an understanding of the depot’s business objectives and identify impact to F117 LPM’s business objectives.

Qualification: Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in Engine MRO / Logistics support. Engine overhaul and repair, and material management experience.

  • 10+ years of experience in aircraft engine/component overhaul & repair along with a strong technical understanding of propulsion systems and their components.

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management

  • US Citizen due to government contracts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong relationship building skills.

  • Individual must utilize organizational, teaming, interpersonal and communication skills in relating directly with UAL and the USG customer.

  • ACE associate

Education:

Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management.

Master Degree in related field preferred.
