JOB DESCRIPTION

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking an Executive Chef for a proposal located in Central Africa.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing the Food Services department of a Life Support Services contract

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

•Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience managing a kitchen as a chef in a 4/5 star hotel or restaurant, or equivalent

•Must be fluent in spoken and written English

•College degree in Culinary Arts or a related field

•Demonstrated proficiency in food safety standards in the Food Code

•Demonstrated proven customer service skills are highly desirable

•Must have at least five (5) years of supervision experience, or equivalent experience

•Must have demonstrated experience in monitoring inventory and supply chain management

WORK ENVIRONMENT

•Living and working conditions at assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable

•Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions

•Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions
