About the Role

The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for identifying, developing, enhancing and supporting business operations and processes. This role will support engineering, data management, and manufacturing system implementations, configurations and process improvements as well as troubleshoot daily system issues.

  • Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and processes as well as user needs.

  • Identify gaps where system solutions or business processes could improve and enhance their performance and productivity.

  • Develop metrics and reports using ERP, operational, and engineering data

  • Support, administer, and optimize systems and processes supporting item setup and configuration in ERP system to maximize efficiencies and data quality for all functions.

  • Manage and support product configurator models including design, creation, testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution

  • Use detailed knowledge of ERP features and functions to assess the scope and impact of business needs.

  • Identify and document cross functional requirements, operational workflow, information resources and distribution paths, and system specifications.

  • Conduct operational workflow, process diagrams and gap analysis.

  • Document and refine system modifications.

  • Resolve issues related to an application (new or current) and escalates as needed

  • Act as a resource in understanding how systems carry out business functions.

  • Communicate effectively with business users to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.

  • Work closely with Technology team to improve existing systems and provide input to create specifications for next generation

We're excited about you because...

  • You have a bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Engineering or related discipline, and/or equivalent work experience.

  • You have a minimum of 3 years related work experience defining and implementing business process improvements in manufacturing and/or supply chain management systems.

  • You can perform complex and varied level work where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.

  • You have strong business knowledge, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

  • You are knowledgeable on technical data analysis, functional design, modeling, system development processes, and software testing.

  • You have advanced interpersonal, business communication, and writing skills.

  • You are a self-starter, able to work independently, and have excellent analytical skills with a passion to improve processes.

  • You are able to learn and creatively problem solve in an environment with limited documented processes

Technical Competencies required:

  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Visio & Power BI.

  • Prior experience working with ERP systems, Microsoft Dynamics AX strongly preferred.
