This role provides business analysis and project management towards execution, implementation, and roll out of Markets products and applications throughout Latin American countries. The Markets business is a fast-paced environment where traction, execution, proactivity, and clear timely solutions, is demanded and expected.
Provides analysis towards reconciling and financial revenue data integration, from multiple sources, for Markets business products; primarily, but not limited to, Latin America Sales business (both Corporate and Investors).
Analysis of countries stakeholders, consisting of trading Desk traders, Sales traders, Market and Credit Risk Managers, Financial Product Control, Country operations, and local Technology partners in all aspects related to products streams (end-to-end).
Manage medium to large projects (30- days of effort to 1- year of effort), including product and/or Control/Regulatory Projects as assigned; including but not limited to KYC (Know Your Customer), AML (Anti Money Laundering), and US, local, and European Regulations.
Develops task and project plans for business, operations, and technology related projects.
Must be able to focus on priorities, and/or suggest sustainable feasible alternatives for business.
Liaises with the global and regional technology teams for clear understanding of business requirements, for identification of functionality gaps, and provides analysis for solution, for functional specifications and testing. This is completed through an end-to-end approach to ensure no impact to overall relevant processes.
Bachelor's degree required, in Business Administration or, Economics, with preference on Information Technology, Engineering, or Quantitative field (Finance, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field ).
Minimum of 5 years of experience with financial products and/or project management and business analysis within the financial industry.
Knowledge and understanding of the banking industry is a must. Individual must understand markets products. Project management and analytical skills are required. Strong and prior work experience in the financial industry is a plus. Both English and Spanish is a must.
Provides first level analysis as needed, for the User community when application and solution related issues arise in assigned Markets systems.
Knowledge and understanding of banking industry, especially Markets products (FX, Options, derivatives).
Strong analytical background; experience in handling data reconcilement, preparation of management revenue reports (combining and accurately reflecting revenue data), and making recommendations towards efficient solutions).
Very strong experience in MS Excel and MS SharePoint tools
Excels in communication skills given the multi-disciplinary teams, in multi- geographies environments for Markets Treasury (end- to- end) solutions. Communicates adequately to the Project team, and business sponsors (which may involve senior business managers), and with overall stakeholders. Communicate locally and globally, must be able to interact with senior managers independently.
Understands and seeks to expand knowledge of Markets businesses needs and is able to review requirements and coordinate gap analysis with Developers; ensures compliance with SDLC and Corporate guidelines, using the proper tools and methodology during all cycles of system development and implementation.
Drives results, and work autonomously follows up with a sense of urgency, without management reminders.
Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written), with excellent communication skills, capable of communicating appropriately to senior management. Portuguese a plus.
Excellent project management skills; and capable of participating in multiple projects simultaneously to meet aggressive deadlines.
