Summary:

As a Personal Lines intern you will Support the Claim Division goal of ensuring customer service industry leadership and partner with the agency to deliver seamless claim service.

Under the direction of a senior level employee or manager you will Investigate, negotiate, estimate loss & damages, interpret state-specific differences in policies and contract coverage and establish rapport with our agents. You will complete tasks using both interpersonal and technical skills appropriate to the specific job assignment, while adapting to new or changing situations in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

Specialized Knowledge and Skills Requirements

  • Basic analytical skills.

  • Basic knowledge and experience working within a team environment.

  • Basic knowledge of developing and managing project work.

Education/Licenses/Designations

  • Pursuing post-secondary education in Insurance, Risk Management or a related major to be most successful in this internship.

  • Must be in pursuit of a post-secondary degree or certificate during the semester of the internship
