Radiant Solutions is seeking an independent, proficient Systems Administrator/ DevOps Engineer to help our team in Springfield, VA support our customer. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology and able to learn quickly. The focus of this position will be to contribute to the development of the data management, user workflow, security authentication, and service call architecture code that comprises a family of applications built on this software suite. Additionally, tasking will include work with a team of analysts and technologists on emerging data science techniques, and contributions to important endeavors to address critical needs of the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, and other government agencies.
Must have a current/active TS/SCI and be willing and able to pass a CI Polygraph
Object-oriented programming language (Java, Python), or C++.
Prior working experience with an MVC framework like Spring, Django, or Flask.
Prior working experience with a relational database like Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
Prior working experience working with Linux distributions like CentOS, RedHat or Ubuntu.
NoSQL databases (ElasticSearch, MongoDB, Redis, etc.)
Experience with HDFS, Accumulo
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Current/active TS/SCI w/ CI Polygraph
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 5+ years of relevant experience
Familiarity with service-oriented architecture (SOA).
Familiarity with AWS, Docker, OpenShift and other cloud technologies.
Familiarity with web server configuration on NGINX, Apache, or similar tools.
Familiarity with Material UI or Bootstrap and Less.
Basic systems administration and installation
QA/test frameworks (Selenium, Cucumber, etc)
Build-test-deploy frameworks (Jenkins, GoCD, etc)
Understanding of build automation and continuous integration/continuous deployment concepts
Open source experience (such as contributions to projects, public github account)
Experience working in an agile team environment
AWS / C2S experience
Experience administering Kibana, and Jupyter Notebooks
Experience submitting SWAP requests, installing software and updates, and IRQ/CRQ
Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages
Experience with development tools such as Git, Eclipse, IDEA
Experience with Linux
Experience with Webservers and securing web applications
Experience with geospatial software and technologies
Familiarity with open source software and OGC standards
Intelligence Community technologies and geospatial processing skills
Familiarity with multiple operating systems
Experience with systems security certification and accreditation processes and procedures
Experience collecting and analyzing imagery data
