As an account manager you are responsible for the BDDS solutions such as various applications for the medical microbiological solutions in the Netherlands ( Rayon-west ) and you report to the BDDS Sales Manager Benelux.
You will be part of the Benelux Sales&Marketing team of BD Diagnostic Systems, which currently consists of 18 people and is still growing. You will have regular contact with your four direct NL colleagues. There is an open atmosphere where everyone likes to be ready for each other and is also encouraged to exchange ideas and experiences. In this way, as a team, you always ensure an optimal experience by the customer.
What are you going to do?
You will be involved in sales, building and expanding the current relationships in the various laboratories. Your contacts within these customers are diverse, from specialists such as medical microbiologists, molecular biologists, lab managers and other stakeholders within these organizations, to your budget and sales of BD DS solutions.
What else do you do?:
You will work closely with the teams of Sales, Marketing, Application, Middleware Specialists and Technical Services during the different phases of the sales cycle.
You manage customer implementation projects, as defined by the line manager, making the implementation a success.
In this position you will work in a team as well as independently. Of course we are mainly looking for an ISS that fits us perfectly in terms of character, sense of responsibility, motivation and drive.

Strong problem-solving (analytical) skills
Practical and action-oriented, proactive and proactive.
An English-speaking sparring partner, someone who can independently and in their own way take the creative lead in complex projects;
Fluent in Dutch and English.
Your skills and knowledge
Knowledge of microbiology and/or molecular biology ( Diagnostics )
Knowledge of the healthcare market.
Knowledge of capital investment sales
What we also consider as your plus:
Understanding the healthcare environment
Experience in selling capital investment is an asset
Experience with selling lab automation solutions is a plus (Non IT)
Experience in project management is an asset.
