Command Security Corporation Site Captain in Valhalla, New York
We are looking for an **experienced individual to join our elite team at our Valhalla, NY location for our Site Captain position!
Summary of Duties for Site Captain:
The SIte Captain position is an 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. position. The Captain assists in planning the daily operation of the Security Department or area of responsibility and supervision of personnel assigned. Greets employees/agents, modifies schedules and assignments when needed, and recommends discipline of employees. Compiles and assisgns specific training. Will train department employees for CPR/AED and First Aid Certification, PMCS, Policies and Procedures and will use online LMS training as well. Plays an active role in overall safety programs and assures operations are performed in accordance with established safety practices and procedures. Maintains a high level of communication (verbal and written) with the Account Manager, Security Director and Chief of Security.
**Retired Law Enforcement preferred but, not required.
Assists with scheduling requirements for employees/agents under their supervision. Makes assignments to assure that positions are covered and that the Client is being services in accordance with their needs.
Assist with replacing staff due to call offs and time off requested.
Monitors agents, recommends discipline, and documents employee performance. Provides direction for employee through appropriate communication.
Places documents in specific order to comply with established requirements daily. Makes sure that forms are signed and complete daily.
Assists with compiling and assigning training and training files. Makes sure that training forms are graded, signed and complete.
Greets employees and assists them in providing high level of Customer Service to clients, passengers, and other employees.
Acts as a safety monitor in their area to make sure that employee’s are using proper lifting techniques and that all safety regulations are being met.
Assesses equipment and building maintenance needs and reports findings for repair or replacement.
Prioritizes work assignments to maintain efficiency or replacement.
Forwards timesheets to Account Manager for review and corrections.
Follow all safety rules. Observes and reports any unsafe or hazardous conditions immediately to their manager or proper authority.
May be requested to perform other duties as assigned based on Manager’s needs or activity.

Qalifications and Requirements:
Site Captain must pass the following requirements and comply with Command Security Corporation, client and State Law Rules and Regulations.
Active CPR/AED and First Aid Instructor (Required)
Must have computer knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. (Required)
Baton / ASP tactical Trainer (Perferred)
5+ Years of Security Supervisor or Law Enforcement position (Required)
NYS Security Guard License. (Required)
Previous Hospital Security experience (Perferred)
Administrative experience (Perferred)
Knowledge of Hospital Call Codes
Knowledge of FEMA Training
EducationHigh School Diploma/GED (Required)
