Key Account Manager Neurology

In this role you will be responsible for the sales and market share development of new to be launched product for the treatment of RR Multiple Scleroses (RRMS). You are responsible for implementation of the strategy in the defined territory, delivering sales messages and MS care optimization projects with our relevant key accounts and key customers. You are the company point of contact from nurses to hospital management. You will ensure a favorable regional environment to maximize potential and will consult and coordinate cross-functionally within BMS to deliver an excellent customer experience.

In this role you will report to the Marketing & Sales Manager in the Netherlands.
Strategic planning and development of the accounts
Implement product strategy on account & customer level
Ensure a consistent cross-functional approach towards accounts in line with strategy
Achieve the agreed sales and market share targets
Identify & develop relationships with customers
Communicate value propositions logically and concisely
Generate and share innovative ideas with manager and team in order to differentiate from the competition
Collaborate with cross-functional team members
Strongly result oriented and the will to win with a pro-active and an entrepreneurial attitude
Gather all relevant insights and in-depth information to perform a continuous analysis of the situation in key accounts
Develop/build a tactical plan for each account and drive execution in collaboration with the cross-functional team.
Minimum 5 years successful experience as account manager/ rayon manager in Neurology
Experience within the MS area is an advantage
Experience in developing strong relationships and communicating value messages to different stakeholders
Experience with Key Account Management and working in a cross-functional team
Demonstrated capability to analyze and have a solution oriented approach.
Ability to translate agreed strategy into an operational action plan with clear timelines. Desired Knowledge/Skills
Strong networker and ability to work in cross-functional team, yet also able to work independently
Open minded, positive, high energy level
Excellent communication skills, ability to adapt communication style and content to different targets
Analytical, able to analyze and draw conclusions from available information/data and translate into actions
Innovative mindset and creativity
Knowlegde and experience in Project Management
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook),
Proficiency in English
Learnable (able to quickly learn to use new systems, digital tools)
