Our SEs have specialist and industry knowledge to help

our customers build their cloud journeys. In partnership with sales, we

collaborate with our customers to understand their business aspirations and

inspire them with an innovative solution roadmap to drive outstanding ROI in

their businesses.

This role is aligned to the Strategy & Programmes

team within the Applications Solution Engineering organisation and will support

the entire EMEA region.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Review and recommend changes to our SolutionEngineering methodology, which enables our SEs to shape and pursue effectiveopportunities in partnership with the sales organisation

  • Implement and rollout this Solution Engineeringmethodology across EMEA SE teams, to drive a step-change in behavior andperformance, in conjunction with local leaders

  • Articulate the business value of a consistent androbust Solution Engineering approach to sales teams

  • Manage relationships with senior Oracle stakeholders toensure their key requirements and motivations are fully understood andaddressed

  • Design, present and articulate change managementapproaches and outcomes to drive user adoption across a variety of internalstakeholder audiences

  • Focus on overcoming obstacles to achieve desiredoutcomes – anticipate risks, tackle issues and address and handle objections

  • Measure your success through defined KPIs

  • Stay up to date with latest Solution Engineeringcapabilities and relevant SaaS trends

  • Represent the Strategy & Programmes team as awhole, through calls, workshops and events

  • Drive the strategic growth of EMEA Applications throughan active contribution to the SE community

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10 years of experience as a pre-sales orimplementation consultant in enterprise transformations

  • 10 years of experience managing complex internationalprojects / programmes

  • Experience in a big 4 consulting firm highly desirable

  • Extensive knowledge of business applications (ideallyacross back office and front office)

  • Understanding of Oracle’s Cloud strategy and the SaaSmarketplace

  • Sales methodology expertise, including processes anddisciplines

  • Experience in utilising design thinking and customerjourney mapping a plus

  • Bachelors / Masters degree or equivalent desirable

  • Fluent in spoken and written English (other languagesare a plus)

  • Travel within EMEA is required, approx. 30%

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

As a Master Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.

Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Acts as a leader of large-scale company initiatives. Viewed by peers as a leader and top contributor and by line management as a key business partner. 3 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 7 years business experience with relevant computer applications or database/tools. Ability to implement the most advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge of competitors. Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.
