Position Summary:

The Patient Service Representative Supervisor coordinates staffing and activities of Patient Service Support staff for Psychology/Psychiatry, CARC and other behavioral health services.


EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Associates Related Field or Employees in the PSR Supervisor role prior to July 1, 2016 will be grand-fathered into the role without the Associate Degree requirement. CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS N/A EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Three (3) Healthcare/Medical - Patient Care Representative, Supervisory responsibility preferred OTHER REQUIREMENTS Demonstrated leadership abilities. Strong communication and customer service skills. Self-motivated, positive attitude. Self directed, with the ability to work indpendently wiht the ability to motivate and implement change. Strong computer skills.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform essential job functions of Patient Service Representative I, II and III.

  • Identifies daily staffing needs in accordance with budget and target guidelines. Proactively reviews future schedules (next day, three days, and one week in advance) to anticipate the need for staffing adjustments.

  • Manage and monitor schedules for changes.

  • Identifies all recurring issues and presents resolution to appropriate party/department.

  • Assists with maintaining budget parameters while meeting department needs. Provides input to management regarding budget needs.
