We are currently looking to add our team with an exciting opportunity as an Account Executive at J.C. Taylor Insurance, an Acrisure Agency Partner.

J.C. Taylor Insurance is an insurance agency with offices located in Upper Darby, PA and Cinnaminson, NJ. Since the 1960?s, J.C. Taylor has been America?s premier specialty insurance provider for classic cars, antique automobiles, modified automobiles, and custom vehicles. This position is within the agency?s general insurance department, servicing traditional personal lines insurance clients as well as commercial & small business risks affiliated with the collector automobile hobby.

The Account Executive is responsible for effectively servicing existing personal and commercial policy holders as well as actively soliciting for new accounts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Effectively coordinate with team members to accomplish retention, new business and customer service goals.

  • Maintain high customer service standards for all customers

  • Prepare proposals for client presentations

  • Review customers? accounts for proper coverage and limits

  • Solicit for new personal & commercial lines customers

  • Produce revenue through cross-sales to existing and new accounts

  • Negotiate renewals for existing customers

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with insurance company underwriters

Education and/or Experience:

  • 4 Year College degree, required

  • Pursuit of a professional designation - CISR, CIC, AAI, ARM, CPCU, preferred

  • Commercial lines experience, 3 years preferred

  • Property & Casualty license, required

  • Minimum of 3 years of insurance experience, required

Technology Skills:

  • Possess strong administrative and computing skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Ability and willingness to learn new systems

Other Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of both personal and commercial lines insurance coverages and concepts

  • Organizational skills to promptly and accurately handle workflows such as endorsement processing, certificates, rating, and policy issuance

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required

  • Must possess excellent organization skills

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team

  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude

  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills

  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication, including the ability actively listen, and problem solve with minimal assistance

  • Willingness to travel to meet clients as needed

  • Attention to detail and commitment to a high level of accuracy
