Raytheon Missile Systems currently has an opening for a PC / Client Server Analyst II to perform in our Tucson, Arizona location . The selected individual will primarily be a System Administrator who will be responsible for performing a full range of Information Technology functions within classified and unclassified program areas. This position ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software, and related procedures adhere to organizational and security-based policies. This role will act as a key stakeholder in meeting program milestones by integrating technical, schedule, and resource requirements with interactions with internal and external users such as functional / government / customer entities’ and vendors. Key duties include, but are not limited to: Provide technical support to end-users who need assistance utilizing client level hardware and software Plan, implement, and operate network services and systems, to include hardware and virtual environments Setup and maintain systems including installation, configuration, and updating of hardware and software U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment. Security Clearance : Candidate must possess an Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance and be willing and able to obtain additional clearances and program access. Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain workstation and server hardware and software Implement and troubleshoot technical security controls Update malicious code detection systems (e.g. Antivirus definitions) Create and modify user accounts and associated access control lists Install software patches, updates, and IAVA (or similar) updates Perform data backups of information systems In partnership with Global Site Security (GSS), install and configure security-relevant software Perform and maintain system inventories (hardware and software) Communicate directly with customers to define required tools and resources, investigate new procedures, and / or identify and resolve Information Technology issues Prioritize and fulfill a variety of Information Technology requests Work in team environments and collaborate across multiple IT disciplines Minimum Required Skills: Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field and minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience or in lieu of a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, 10 years of related experience Active DoD Secret security clearance Experience in Windows System Administration: Windows desktop administration (Windows 7 or newer) Windows Server administration (Windows Server 2012 or newer) to include infrastructure services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, etc. Experience researching compliance issues, and formulating recommendations to management Must be able to lift 35 pounds in support of hardware installations CompTIA Security+, or equivalent DoD 8570 certification for IAT Level II, within 6 months of hire Highly Desired Skills: An active DoD TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance or prior SCI/program eligibility Direct working experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, and/or DoD/RMF In-depth working experience in Windows Server 2008, 2012, or 2016 Knowledge of data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies and solutions Familiar with TCP/IP, switches, firewalls, routers, and their basic operations Patch management experience using Windows WSUS or SCCM Knowledge and experience using Information Technology project lifecycle Experience with license managers in a Windows or Linux environment Solid experience using VMWare vCenter, vSphere, and ESX virtual computing methods Experience supporting engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development Experience with Microsoft WSUS, SCCM, Exchange, and Lync Working knowledge of Backup Exec, NetApp Snap Protect, data backup technologies, systems principles, and safeguards Advanced scripting experience Basic understanding of Oracle and SQL databases Experience using Network Appliance FAS Series Systems High Performance Computing (HPC) experience in a Linux environment Experience in Project Leadership, Management, or Project management in an IT domain Basic Windows scripting Desire and ability to work as a contributing team member Effective customer and communications skills Ability to work under time constraints, Self-Starter, Customer focused, adaptable and willing to work varying assignments Organizational skills to include: attention to detail, time management and ability to multitask This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization. 128433
