Analysis Engineer-Soilumina Software
As a Manufacturing Engineer in Troy, Ohio and as part of a QuEST Outsource team for UTAS, the candidate will be responsible for daily activities in support of a business unit with specific goals and objectives to be delivered on time/per schedule. This opening is for a Manufacturing or Industrial Engineer and is for Industrial Engineering support of Solumina Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) implementation. Main activities:
Evaluate process plans in existing PLM and MES for conversion to Solumina
Provide recommendations to eliminate waste time and increase efficiency
Proposal of new standard Solumina work instruction template
Create new process plans in Solumina and migrate process information
Development, entry, update, modification, creation, and validation of manufacturing routings for a product family
Must coordinate and manage the flow of routers with other disciplines in the plant: such as Quality Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Planners, Supervisors, Configuration Management, and Programmers
Ability to navigate in 3D CAD software – preferably NX/Unigraphics
Must have excellent computer based skills: will be working with Microsoft Word, Team Center, SAP, and Visiprise
Must be a US citizen or permanent resident
Must be able to work 40 hours per week Mon.-Fri. ranging from 7am-6pm. Occasional off-shift support may be required

2 Year degree with 3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment support manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, process planning, or production scheduling.
Additional manufacturing experience without degree is acceptable
Experience working in PLM, MES, or ERP Systems. Solumina, TeamCenter, SAP preferred.
Specialized Knowledge / Skills
Must have excellent computer based skills: will be working with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Solumina, TeamCenter, SAP, and Visiprise
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Strong familiarity with a manufacturing environment.
Compliance with all Export Control policies and procedures.
Demonstrated history of appropriately handling confidential and private data.
US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Demonstration/Evidence of Leadership examples required during interview
Prefer experience within Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technologies
Education Required, Minimum of Associates of Science Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology, or Manufacturing Engineering, (preference above in Requirements)
Experience using Software Databases preferred
High level or intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office tools Excel, Access are required
Moderate proficiency or ability to gain it in PowerPoint, SharePoint, SAP, Solumina, AutoTime and Excel are extremely beneficial to success
