About The Opportunity
Value Stream Cases mainly manufacture parts for
commercial engines. Cases have doubled in size the last 2 years driven by the
PW1100 ramp up where Cases manufacture the IMC and Segments and Sectors for the
TEC. Even when the main volume is from the PW1100 engine, Cases also
manufacture a range of fascinating parts like CRF, IPT Frame, GP7000 Seal,
V2500 bearing houses to name a few.
Due to a parental leave January to September 2019
Cases is currently looking for a Temporary Manager.
The main responsibility is to develop and maintain a competitive team.
As a manager you are responsible for meeting current production targets as well as continuously improving the operations to make the shop ready to meet future targets. You will provide leadership, management and direction to your department as well as support the value stream by ensuring that the area of responsibility is supplied with proper manpower, machines, tools and training. Safety, quality, delivery and continuous improvement should be driving factors.
You will be a full accountable member of the Value Stream management team with focus to deliver GOLD-performance.
Qualifications / Experience / Skills
We are looking for a target-oriented person with a strong drive to deliver and constantly develop and improve the organization.
You are a firm leader with an interest and ability to lead and develop your employees and operations. The position requires an outgoing personality with excellent collaboration skills as well as ability to work independently.
An eager to work with Lean production is a key for success in this position. Strong customers focus and good communication skills are essential, as is the ability to network and create trusting relationships.
Your background should include relevant production and quality management.
