Microsoft Technology Solutions Professionals main goal is to win the technical decision of customers to purchase and use Microsoft’s technology. You will work in a fun, team environment, and solve interesting business challenges through the use of Microsoft technology. Technology Solutions Professionals are expected to be able to both own and win the customers technical decisions, as well as find new opportunities through their contacts and work they are on for sales people to further pursue. The Technology Solutions Professional explains, demonstrates & proves the capabilities of Dynamics 365 line of business solutions by articulating relevant and compelling business case examples built on technical and functional value messaging. As a Technology Solutions Professional, you are knowledgeable across the entire Dynamics 365 suite and can architect solutions that also include Azure and Productivity components.

As part of the Dynamics 365 Sales Team Unit, you will be responsible for presenting product offerings and our solution architecture to enterprise customers, and to help Microsoft position our commercial cloud and enterprise application assets in a manner that differentiate our company strategy. Your job will be to establish confidence and win our customer’s trust that Microsoft is both enterprise and industry-ready to run our customer’s most critical applications on their behalf. Your job will be to partner with the Principal Solution Specialist roles to understand customer’s business pain, and to determine the necessary technical strategy across applications & cloud deployment, and design/develop compelling solutions leveraging our technology assets, and to remove technical blockers (business requirements, cloud requirements) that impede sales and are barriers for customer adoption.

Responsibilities

You will help customers make technical decisions to build tomorrow’s business and IT solutions based on Microsoft technology. You will

  • Engage highest profile accounts as a trusted advisor

  • Function as technical leader in large and strategic Canadian accounts.

  • You will lead technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, architecture design sessions, proof of concepts, and pilots to explain, demonstrate, and prove to our largest customers the capabilities of Microsoft's products and services, and how we can make their businesses more successful.

  • You will lead to clear technical, competitive and security blockers to accelerate Business Applications sales and customer usage

  • You will own winning the technical decision at customers for Business Applications enterprise sales opportunities and usage scenarios, through tailoring your message, bringing ideas to customers, engaging with them to show our technology differentiation, and guiding them in decision making.

  • You will work with partners and others at Microsoft, as well as use our core tools, social connection tools, and AI driven data to extend your reach and the reach of your team, focusing on satisfying important customer needs.

  • Understand customer goals and challenges and architect a solution that utlizes all the power of the Microsoft portfolio of products
