The Inside Sales Program
Over the course of 2 to 3 years, you will engage in an intense program that will prepare you for long-term success within the Dell EMC Sales organization. Anyone who joins our organization starts as an Associate Inside Sales Rep where you’ll receive premier training from both a technology and sales perspective. You’ll be in that role anywhere from 6 to 12 months, depending on how you perform, and then you’ll have the opportunity to advance to become an Inside Sales Rep where you’ll carry a quota and run all aspects of a sales campaign. We typically see people staying in the Inside Sales Rep role for another year and a half or so before ultimately moving on to their next position, whether it be field sales, sales management, or a specialty selling role. We often see those who are successful in this program having 2-3 jobs in the first 3 years, all with more responsibility, a bigger contribution, and a bigger paycheck.

Within DELL EMC’s Enterprise Business and Data Center Organization, we are looking for an Insides Sales Representative to work as part of a close knit, up and coming team based in Toronto.

Performs outbound sales activities such as cold calling, lead follow-up, sales qualifications, and offer extensions to existing or new customers
Is responsible for own accounts & territory, running the full sales cycle from start to finish and building longstanding relationships with those customers
Accurately updates and utilizes Salesforce.com to track all sales activities
Meets or exceeds quota goals in an assigned market with a DELL EMC Team. Ensures sales targets/objectives are achieved quarterly and annually as well as exceeds activity for scheduled calls, opportunities added, net new accounts and solutions sold.
Effectively leverages internal resources (e.g. District Manager, Technical Consultants, Solution Specialists, Global Financial Services) and local resources to drive transactional volume
Collaborates with manager to develop territory plan to identify key target markets and plans sales campaigns to drive demand to a dedicated partner
Builds and develops relationships with an assigned team and maintains contact with customers to ensure customer satisfaction, basic and complex issue resolution, and DELL EMC’s footprint expansion
Maintains working knowledge of products and services, industry trends, and competition in order to position Dell EMC products effectively with customers.
Understanding of DELL EMC’s products and the value to the customer.
Solid understanding of the competition
Ability to influence others to achieve results.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Sales experience is an asset
