TouchBistro Account Executive - Payments in Toronto, Ontario

As an Account Executive - Payments at TouchBistro you are responsible for prospecting and qualifying opportunities for our payments offering. We are looking for results-oriented professionals interested in working on a successful team with measurable sales results. The majority of the Account Executive's time will be to seek and close opportunities for merchant services and ancillary products for restaurants. You will also support the Account Executives with payments expertise for new business in addition to prospecting and closing merchant processing for existing customers. The successful candidate will be comfortable carrying a quota and will have deep sales experience with merchant processing at an existing SaaS based solution provider offering payments or a traditional merchant acquirer. If you have an entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivated and driven to find, technology savvy and passionate about learning new things, this may be the right fit for you!


  • Sell the company?s products and services including merchant accounts and net-profit attainment, value propositions and close the sale

  • Perform outbound calls to customers and warm leads

  • Convert sales leads into accounts by prospecting and adding incremental revenue growth to the company

  • Maintain profit margins on accounts sold

  • Negotiate the sale of products and services to meet the merchant?s needs

  • Receive and Process merchant applications


  • Deep knowledge of merchant services industry and the ability to sell beyond price

  • Ability to read and explain merchant processing statements back to merchants, uncover hidden fees and articulate the merchants true costs

  • Aptitude for technology or a technical background

  • Familiarity with Salesforce

  • Highly organized, professional individual who excels in relationship selling, which is critical to the success of this position

  • Self-starter and highly motivated with excellent logic and decision making skills

  • Dynamic, flexible and comfortable in adapting to quick changes in technology or environment

  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines in a fast-paced and challenging environment
