Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Develop new business by driving sales in their existing accounts as well as new Accounts

  2. Developing and executing account plans to achieve targets: prospecting, qualification, account mapping and presentations.

  3. Responsible for all aspects of the selling process - Identify, Qualify, Sell, Close and Administer:

  • Identify

ü Generate leads by using networking and other sales tools

  • Qualify, Sell and Close

ü Identify key steps to close sale, identify decision maker and influencers, etc.

ü Determine Availability needs and Objectives

ü Gain agreement of proposed solution / Services, tying back to customer business drivers

ü Close significant $ sales across multiple Accounts across assigned territory

  • Administer

ü Accurate Forecasting of business & keeping records in the internal systems updated

  1. Effectively utilize available Oracle’s Sales tools for pipeline development, tracking opportunity progress (Forecasting), developing monthly, quarterly level forecasts

Qualifications :

ü 3 to 6 years of direct and indirect sales experience in Services and Solutions domain

ü Experience facing customers/business partners will be preferred

ü Positive can-do attitude, self-motivated, committed to succeed

ü Ability to make presentations & excellent communication skills in English

ü Aggressive selling approach and yet be a good team player

ü Strong network of relationships with key decision makers in small/medium & large sized companies and ability to leverage these relationships for generating new business for Oracle

ü Leverage current / running customer contacts and be able to generate revenue within first 30 days

ü Experience with Lead generation and sales closure

ü Strong exposure on handling the assigned Market

ü Track record of managing relationships with large accounts.

ü Perseverant with ability to meet deadlines and targets

ü Bachelor degree or equivalent from a reputed institute with good academic record

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

The primary focus of an Inside Sales representative is to sell solutions and services to existing Oracle customers and to prospect for new customers in the assigned territory or vertical.

As an Internet Sales Representative you will sell products and services to an assigned geographic or national account base territory to achieve assigned objectives. Generates sales leads as well as closing the sales on line or by phone. Utilizes inbound and/or outbound calls to pursue sales. Develops account penetration strategies, and closes business . Responsible for understanding Oracle

  • s product offerings and competitive issues. Identifies new business opportunities by creating and implementing territory campaigns with management assistance. Liaise with customer contacts for the purpose of managing the customer relationship, identifying new opportunities, and selling Oracle products and services. Participates as a team member on sales teams including field sales, support and education sales and sales consulting.

Duties and tasks are varied and are complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. Failure to obtain results would have serious consequences and need expenditure of resources. Contacts are within the organization and with external customers. May have project lead role and/or supervise lower level personnel. 5 years business experience. Proven ability to manage complex sales cycle, with a track record of successful revenue attainment. Excellent communication/negotiating/closing skills with customers/prospects. Typically bachelor degree in Business or Computer Science or equivalent.
